Grants Received by Companion Animal Foundation (CAF)

B.A.R.K. Be Aware Responsible and Kind.
The B.A.R.K. Program has visited 24 Humboldt County schools as of June 2005 bringing the message of dog safety as well as compassion to all animals. Yumi and Tanya, the creators of the puppet theater Quack and Wabbit, are professional counselors and use puppets to bring important messages to school children usually kindergarten through 4th or 5th grade. If you are interested in Quack and Wabbit performing for your school please call 825-7827 for more information.

This project is over $7,000. Thanks to a generous grant from the McLean Foundation for $3500, as well as the Companion Animal Foundations' $3500, this theater has become a reality.
