Linda Hall-Martin delivered some pet donations on Friday Dec. 18th. She and her co-workers at HSU gathered up as many donations on the CAF wish list for the holidays. Donations pictured with our lovely volunteer, Leslie Marshall with Galaxy (who is up for adoption).
McKinleyville Animal Care Center hosted a Giving Tree for CAF. Volunteers from CAF decorated it with ornaments that were made from photos of many adoptions and cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies, that we adopted out this year. Below the photos was an item from our wish list.
Symi Roy didn't want birthday presents this year, she wants donations for CAF kitties! Her grandma (of Trinidad) appreciated our organization's help last year with spaying/neutering a cat. Symi brought in a bag of food, a gift bag of kitty toys, and $43 cash. She also would love to volunteer with her grandparents to help with the kitties. Do you have a car that you are not sure what to do with? Would you like to donate your car to our nonprofit organization? Consider donating to our “Cars for Pets” program. 100% of our profits go directly to spay/neuter assistance. Of course we love it when the cars are running with current registration and all the glass intact, but if you have one that does not fit this description, call us… and we may still be able to take it. If you would like to donate quality household items for the thrift shop, with the sales proceeds going toward CAF programs and caring for our cats and kittens, etc, you may bring them by our thrift store at 88 Sunnybrae Center in Arcata, across from Murphy's grocery store and right next to Ace Hardware.
