About Adoption
Our cats/kittens are tested for FeLV/FIV, spot checked for parasites (de-flead, ear mite check, wormed), vaccinated with at least their first FvRCP (distemper), fed the highest-quality cat food, given medical attention if indicated and spayed or neutered prior to adoption. Our kitties have free run of their adoption room featuring a 46 gallon freshwater fish aquarium with live plants, several climbing posts, and toys galore! Lots of visitors stop in to visit making these felines friendly, stop by Monday through Saturday and hold a purring armful of unconditional love!
The best way to view a cat or kitten for adoption is to visit our kitty adoption room and view our web site. Our adoption room is open 6 days a week Monday-Friday from 10-4:30 and Saturday 10-4. After checking out all our fabulous felines that are in our adoption room (there are additional kittens in foster care), you can fill out a kitty adoption application on the cat or kitten you are interested in. If a kitten you are viewing is on the web but not in the adoption room, mark this on your application or let someone in the store know. This particular kitty may have already been adopted or may be in foster care. The adoption fee for a cat/kitten is $85.00. For a dog or puppy it is $115.00 If you don't know which vet to go to, we will be glad to make some suggestions.
Items you will need, if you are a first-time cat guardian, are high-quality cat/kitten food (keep in mind, a cat is a kitten, and should be fed as such, for one full year), unscented gravel litter for young kittens, gravel or scoopable for older cats, litter box(es), scooper, break-away collar with ID tags, harness and leash (if taken outside), non-plastic food and water dishes, scratching post, toys (not string, yarn, or rubberbands!!), a playmate (whenever possible!), bedding (yours or his/hers-they don't care which), a brush, nail trimmers, etc... ![]() click here for a CAF cat adoption consideration form! click here for a CAF dog adoption consideration form! |
